Is Sync com really secure?
Sync.com security is very strong. AES-256 end-to-end encryption with TLS means only someone with your encryption keys can read your data. By default, Sync.com does not have access to your encryption keys (which are protected with RSA-2048 encryption), making this a zero-knowledge system.

Is Tresorit end-to-end encrypted?
Using end-to-end encryption, Tresorit encrypts every file and relevant file metadata on your devices with unique randomly generated encryption keys. These keys are never sent to our servers in an unencrypted format. Accessing files is only possible with a user’s unique decryption key.
Where is Tresorit data stored?
Tresorit is hosted with Microsoft Azure Servers and in principle, we are currently using data centers in Europe (in Ireland and the Netherlands). Since July of 2021 the data of Swiss customers will be stored in Switzerland by default.
Should I turn Sync on or off?
If you are using Enpass on multiple devices, then we recommend enabling sync to keep your database updated across all your devices. Also, you don’t need to worry about the safety of your database as using sync is safe. Your cloud always contains a copy of the same encrypted data as on your device.
