How close can ProPress fittings be to each other?
When soldering next to ProPress fittings, the installer must remain at least three tube diameters away from the connection to prevent damage to the sealing element.

Do you need to clean copper for ProPress?
The versatility of these fittings is just one of the advantages that differentiates them from the traditional methods of connecting pipe. Creating a ProPress connection is simple and quick. Unlike soldering, ProPress fittings do not need a completely cleaned pipe to work.
Can you ProPress DWV copper?
You can install Viega ProPress virtually anywhere in commercial, industrial and residential applications. ½” to 2″ press connections made in four to seven seconds. For Types K, L and M hard copper tubing in ½” to 2″ and soft copper tubing ½” to 1 ¼”.
Are all ProPress fittings the same?
All jaws press any same size fitting but all jaws to not fit every machine. Our larger Ridgid jaws do not fit the compact Ridgid press tool.
Can you repress a ProPress fitting?
Yes, although this should be avoided if possible. As a general rule of thumb, if the fitting is turned more than 5° it must be repressed to restore the resistance to rotational movement.
Can you use ProPress on PEX?
