Does Sufferfest have training plans?
The Sufferfest, Wahoo’s indoor training app, has released a new range of six-week training plans designed for the time-crunched rider, which can help you balance rest, recovery, performance and mobility, to help you reset for the winter.
Can you create your own workouts in Sufferfest?
We don’t currently have the ability to build or import workouts into our app. A workout builder is on the horizon but there are a few projects that we need to be completed first. If you have a coach who is assigning you workouts we would love for them to explore our app so that they can assign you SUF videos!
Are there free training plans on TrainingPeaks?
A: TrainingPeaks is a 100% free to view workouts, analyze your rides, and keep your ride data organized.
Is Sufferfest still available?
Then, in 2019, it was bought by the US giant that is Wahoo. From September 28, 2021 (that’s today), The Sufferfest will now live inside Wahoo’s new app, Systm. However, this is by no means a prison in which The Sufferfest goes to die.
How do I choose a training plan for Sufferfest?
Choose the menu icon (the three dots next to Help) to being up the training plans menu. Select Training Plans to open the plan customization options.
Is Zwift or Sufferfest better?
Perhaps the biggest difference between Zwift and Sufferfest is the community aspect. Sufferfest is all about solo suffering, providing you with intensely-focused, highly-structured workouts with lots of audio and visual aids. If the quest is to get fit and reach your performance potential, Sufferfest is the way to go.
How long are Sufferfest training plans?
You get a personalised 12-week training plan; currently that’s still delivered through TrainingPeaks, although I’d expect it to be moved to the in-app calendaring soon.
How long should training blocks be?
Intensity/Intensification Blocks Length may last anywhere from 2-4 weeks. This block may be stretched out longer; remember, this is not an exact science. Proportionately, if you have a long volume block, you may benefit from a longer intensity block. Average weight lifted should be increased weekly.
Is Training Peaks better than strava?
TrainingPeaks is the winner for analysis capabilities, although the free version is a little limited, the paid version is very capable in both single workout analysis and longer term reviews and planning. TrainingPeaks beats Strava as a planning tool and if you want to work with training plans.
What is TSS in training peaks?
Training Stress Score (TSS) is a composite number that takes into account the duration and intensity of a workout to arrive at a single estimate of the overall training load and physiological stress created by that training session.
How good is Rouvy?
The data on the site is very useful, but not much different than Strava or any of the other trackers, so overall a bit redundant. If you’re looking for a wide variety of routes and realistic resistance, ROUVY is a great way to mix up your indoor training and see some of the classic courses around the world.
When did Wahoo buy Sufferfest?
In July 2019, Wahoo Fitness acquired The Sufferfest, with further plans for expansion which, with the release of the newest version, a platform named SYSTM, on September 28, 2021, has begun to roll out.
