Are Ektorp covers discontinued?
I highly recommend both these covers (they are beautiful) and the Ektorp line. Even though they are being discontinued, you may come across them on the marketplace, or maybe may even be able to get them in your local stores as they finish out the line.
Does IKEA still make Ektorp sectional?

Can I dye my Ektorp sofa cover?
As it was filling up I added 1/2 bottle (1/2 Cup) of the navy dye and 1/2 bottle (1/2 Cup) of the black dye, and 1 Cup of salt. I let my machine agitate for a minute to mix and then I added my covers. As instructed, extended the wash an extra 30 minutes by resetting the cycle before it can rinse. Rinse in cold water.
Is Ektorp now uppland?

In a statement, IKEA said the Uppland is essentially a new and improved version of the Ektorp.
Can I dye a sofa slipcover?
Yes, it’s totally possible to dye your slipcovers but first of all, you need to check the fabric composition of your slipcover. For example, fabrics made of Bycast Leather or Polyester are not recommend for dyeing.

- Wash covers completely – leave wet.
- Use Rit color remover according to package.
- Fill washer up with hot water (making sure the fabric can move freely) and add dye to the water along with 1 cup of salt dissolved in about 4 cups of hot water.
- Add covers to washer and agitate for 40 minutes.
